Welcome to CharmCharmz of Destiny Ari'e! My name is Destiny Ari'e, and I am a visual artist who creates authentic handmade jewelries and artworks. As an artist, my art style has always been colorful, detailed, and expressive. If you looked at my old artworks, you would see caricature drawings of myself surrounded by animals, flowers, and other objects found in nature. Drawing these subjects not only made me feel more connected with the environment, but it also brought me serenity. As a child, I used to be very anxious and reserved. Creating art helped my confidence and passions blossom throughout my life!

Growing up, I was always surrounded by some creative art form. My parents were self made producers, songwriters, authors, and visual artists. Even watching movies and reading books inspired me as a child to explore the art world. Perceiving all the different storylines, color schemes, and conflicts made me want to create projects of my own, and in kindergarten, I started illustrating my own books. Throughout my academic journey, I became very involved in the arts. From attending art schools such as The Creative Arts Academy, Augustana College, and Rivermont Collegiate; to earning various scholarships and awards for my artistic skills, art has always been my calling. I have also had amazing opportunities to sell my jewelry at local vendor fairs, display my artworks at college conferences, and exhibit my work in museum galleries. Some of these museums include the FIGGE Art Museum, German American Heritage Center, Tri-City Jewish Center, and Cedar Rapids Museum of Art!

Overall, the intention behind my artworks and jewelries is to highlight the moments of nostalgia, tranquility, and beauty life has to offer. Life is so complex and beautiful, and creating art allows me to capture these instances.
